Bruins Moving to the East Conference Final

With a 4-2 win over the North Kawartha Knights, the Uxbridge Bruins captured the Cougar Cup to become playoff champions of the Orr Division. The Bruins will now face the Tod Division Napanee Raiders in their quest for the Schmalz Cup. The Orr Division congratulates the Bruins and wishes them much success on the next leg of their journey. Bruins Are Orr Division Champs

Robinson named MVP

Cameron Robinson of the Little Britain Merchants was voted the Orr Division's MVP and recipient of the Erve Downey Memorial Award. Cam was presented with his award prior to the Little Britain-Lakefield game on February 9th, 2019 by convener, Liz Basinger.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Elijah Brahaney of the North Kawartha Knights on being voted the Orr Division Rookie of the Year. Elijah was presented with the Percy Macklin Memorial Award prior to Knights' semi-final match up against the Lakefield Chiefs on Tuesday, February 19th.

Merchant Claims Scoring Title

Little Britain Merchant, Cameron Robinson, received the Eleanor Gilliam Memorial Award for 2018-2019 top scorer in the Orr Division. Appearing in 42 games, Robinson notched 38 goals and 33 assists for a total of 71 points. Congratulations Cameron!

LAKEFIELD GOALTENDING DUO SHINE

Andrew Barwinski (l) and Michael Christie (r) accept the Smith Family Trophy for top team goaltending with a Goals Against Average of 2.26 for the regular season. Barwinski and Christie had the lowest GAA of all teams in the Orr Division.
